ABOUT

Felicity is intimately familiar with fire: both the kind that drives her to make music — and the kind she’s had to walk through in pursuit of that dream. After years of globe-trotting, false promises, and working every odd bar job, she’s finally ablaze.

Born in Perth, Australia, Felicity spent her childhood bouncing between such far-flung locales as Indonesia, South Africa, and Colorado. The budding musician wrote her first song at age 15, and at the time, she only knew that writing songs felt right. After moving to the East Coast at 17, Felicity spent a few years honing her sound in New York before heading down to Nashville, where she linked up with producer Austin Luther and songwriters Dylan Taylor, Johnny Gates, Warren Lively and Ellis Melillo. In 2023, Gates asked Felicity to sign to his new label, East Music Row Records, her entire catalog of unreleased songs in tow.

Felicity took all her life experiences — both positive and not-so-positive — and funneled them into her debut EP, You Take Me To Dinner But You’ll Never Feed My Soul, a rumination on both her love of music and romantic foibles. Felicity has a lot more fuel for that fire — and she’s ready to burn.

You Take Me To Dinner But You’ll Never Feed My Soul is out via East Music Row Records on July 19, 2024, and it’s a goddamn barnburner.

"The Nashville-based singer/songwriter aches in all the right ways on her bold, brooding, and soul-soaked song “There’s Been a Lot Going On,” pouring heaps of burnout, exhaustion, and fatigue into a breathtakingly cinematic, dreamy, and emotionally charged reverie.”
